Management of Change

A key component of the alarm management program is a defined set of change management procedures. It is also important to have a system that supports these change management procedures. Matrikon's Management of Change module provides the following features:

  • Tracks actual alarm settings against designed values in the Master Alarm Database.
  • Automatically creates an audit trail of all changes, by time and by user.
  • Validates system alarm configuration against the best practices outlined in EEMUA 191.
  • Provides a documentation and rationalization mechanism for all configured alarms.
