Fully Auditable

• The CapuWare solution suite provides a complete and secure audit trail for all entries, edits, deletions and views.  The audit log can be viewed on an entry-by-entry basis (to see the history of all changes) or used to query the overall application and export the results to Excel for further analysis.

Secure and Scalable

• Built around standard technologies such as Microsoft SharePoint and the .NET framework, the solutions fully leverage Microsoft's role-based user security and integrate with all common network configurations.  The application is also fully scalable from just a handful of users in a single control room to thousands across an entire enterprise incorporating multiple sites and control rooms.

Logbook Entries

• Several entry types are available out of the box, and all include a requirement to enter basic information such as the Plant Area, Plant Equipment and Operating Shift pertaining to the entry.  Wherever possible, manual, free-form entry has been minimized - both for ease of use and reporting purposes.  All log entries include the capability to upload attachments such as pictures or documents.

Monitoring Rules

• Rules types include simple limit, multi-level if/then and complex scripts.
• Each rule can be assigned to a plant area and equipment for easy organization and reporting.
• Alerts can be configured as emails containing diagnostic information and links.

Reporting

• The CapuWare solution suite provides comprehensive searching, filtering and reporting capabilities.  Each user can quickly and easily create their own reports sorted by area, equipment, shift or any other set of parameters.
• Users can create reports on the log entries associated with a particular piece of equipment and compare that to the history logged in the maintenance system or data historian.
• Further, seamless connections to other data sources such as maintenance management systems, lab systems, production accounting, data historians, etc. allow for extensive operations Dashboards to be created.

Dashboards

• Each reporting module is designed as a webpart which allows individual users to quickly and easily create their own dashboards of event and shift information combined with production and maintenance data.  Webparts can be dropped on a paged and sized in a matter of minutes.  Shift Supervisors can create standard dashboards for common use, while each user can create personal dashboards for their own use.

User Experience

• The CapuWare solution suite boasts incredible ease of use.  Manual data entry is minimized whenever possible.  Users can configure personal alerts based on the creation or modification of certain events, and can even gain full access to the application through any PDA or cell phone with a WAP browser.  This means that operations and maintenance personnel can make log entries and monitor events from the field on a handheld device.
